A tour around the most significant series of engravings that turned its author into one of the great South American muralists along with Diego Rivera and Orozco.
The works belong to the archive of the Fundación Museo de Artes del Grabado a la Estampa Digital and show works from two of his series of engravings: La conquista de Méjico and Emociones The former shows a whole indigenous universe of extraordinary beauty and colour, an exaltation of Pre-Columbian culture that is nourished with the colour of the land, the light of the American continent and the indigenous iconography. The latter series, Emociones, gathers all the intensity of Guayasamín's works through 20 women that are 20 feelings, 20 emotions of irrepressible power.
